Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible?

EVA’Z Yoga & Pilates is responsible for the personal data processed by EVA’Z.

2. What personal data do we process?

Depending on how you use EVA’Z, we may process the following personal data:

• your name and contact details;
• information about bookings, classes attended, class passes and purchases through Eversports;
• information you provide to EVA’Z yourself, for example by email;
• your email address and, where applicable, your first and last name for the newsletter;
• information about your use of the website when you consent to analytics cookies.

EVA’Z does not maintain medical records and does not systematically store health information.

3. What do we use personal data for?

We only use personal data for purposes necessary for providing EVA’Z services.

For bookings, class passes, purchases and the associated administration, we process data because this is necessary for the performance of the agreement.

For our financial administration, we process data insofar as this is necessary to comply with legal obligations.

To answer questions and provide good and safe services, we process data where this is necessary for the agreement or on the basis of EVA’Z’s legitimate interest in providing good customer service and running its business.

For the newsletter, we process personal data on the basis of consent.

We only use Google Analytics after you have given your consent.

Personal data is necessary for certain bookings and purchases. Without this information, we cannot provide the relevant service.

4. Eversports

EVA’Z uses Eversports for the class schedule, accounts, bookings, waitlists, class passes and payments.

The personal data required for these purposes is processed through Eversports. EVA’Z is responsible for the data EVA’Z uses to manage classes, bookings and customer relationships.

Eversports also processes certain data under its own responsibility, for example for your Eversports account and the operation of the platform. The Eversports Privacy Policy also applies to this processing.

5. Contact with EVA’Z

If you contact EVA’Z by telephone or email, we use the information you provide to answer your question and, where necessary, to stay in contact with you.

Messages that are no longer needed for an ongoing question or agreement are generally retained for no more than two years after the last relevant contact, unless there is a legal obligation or another valid reason to retain them for longer.

Health information

EVA’Z does not request medical records and does not record health information in Eversports or another customer file.

If you share information about, for example, an injury or recovery and this information is necessary to provide you with personal advice, we only use it with your explicit consent. We do not retain this information for longer than necessary.

6. Newsletter and Mailchimp

EVA’Z uses Mailchimp to send its newsletter. For this purpose, we process your email address and, where applicable, your first and last name.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter. Once you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive the newsletter. A minimal record of your unsubscribe request may be retained to prevent you from being added again unintentionally.

7. Website and Google Analytics

EVA’Z uses Google Analytics 4 to gain insight into how the website is used and to improve the website.

Google Analytics is only loaded after you have given consent for analytics cookies.

EVA’Z uses Google Analytics solely for website analysis and not for advertising personalisation. We do not use a Google Ads connection, Google Signals or other marketing trackers.

For data to which the Google Analytics data-retention setting applies, the retention period is set to 14 months.

8. Cookies

The website uses functional cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the website to work properly.

Google Analytics is only used after you have given consent for analytics cookies.

You can make your choice through the cookie banner and can later change or withdraw that choice.

9. Google Maps

On the Contact & Location page, EVA’Z uses Google Maps to show the location of and route to the studio.

When Google Maps is loaded, Google may process technical and usage data. Google’s Privacy Policy also applies to this processing.

Google Maps is only loaded after you have given your consent.

10. Hosting and email

The EVA’Z website and business email are hosted by Cloud86.

Cloud86 may process personal data for hosting, security and technical support. Insofar as Cloud86 processes personal data on behalf of EVA’Z, appropriate agreements apply regarding processing and security.

11. Who do we share personal data with?

EVA’Z does not sell personal data.

We only share personal data with parties that are necessary for providing our services, such as the service providers referred to in this Privacy Policy, or where we are legally required to provide data.

Some service providers, including Eversports, Mailchimp and Google, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, this only takes place where there is a valid legal basis or appropriate safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Parties that process personal data on behalf of EVA’Z may only use that data for the agreed services.

12. Retention periods

EVA’Z does not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is legally required.

In general, the following periods apply:

• Contact and correspondence: no more than two years after the last relevant contact;
• Newsletter data: for as long as you are subscribed, after which a minimal record of your unsubscribe request may be retained;
• Google Analytics: 14 months;
• Booking and customer data: for as long as this data is necessary for the performance and administration of the agreement;
• Financial administration: for the statutory tax retention period;
• Health information shared incidentally: no longer than necessary to answer or handle the relevant question.

13. Security

EVA’Z takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Access to personal data is limited to situations in which that access is necessary for providing EVA’Z services.

14. Your privacy rights

You can ask EVA’Z to:

• provide access to the personal data we process about you;
• correct or supplement inaccurate information;
• delete personal data where you have the right to deletion;
• restrict the processing of personal data;
• transfer data where the right to data portability applies;
• object to certain processing;
• withdraw consent you previously provided.

If necessary to verify your identity, we may ask for additional information. We will not request more information than necessary.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

15. Minors

Where EVA’Z processes personal data relating to a minor and consent from a parent or legal representative is required, we will request that consent where required by law.

For data processed through Eversports, the privacy and account rules of Eversports also apply.

16. Complaints about personal data

You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

17. Changes

EVA’Z may update this Privacy Policy when our services, the systems we use or privacy rules change.

The current version is always available at evaz.nl/en/privacy/. We will indicate the date on which the version became effective.
